Borussia Dortmund boss Lucien Favre has dropped his biggest hint that Jadon Sancho could be sold this summer by admitting he doesn’t know whether the winger will stay at the club.
Sancho is a priority target for Man Utd who are weighing up a bid for the 20-year-old in the upcoming transfer window.
A number of other clubs are also interested, with Man City and Liverpool rumoured to be monitoring the star’s situation.
Dortmund were hopeful the financial impact of the coronavirus crisis would give them a higher chance of keeping hold of Sancho.
But Favre has conceded Sancho is one of two players whose futures are up in the air.

« We’ll see after the season, » Favre said when asked about potential outgoings on Monday. « Of course, players will leave. We hope the players will stay, but it is possible that players will leave.
« You have already mentioned two [Achraf Hakimi and Sancho] that we don’t definitely know about.
« Of course, they could stay with us, which would be very good for me. But we’ll see what we’ll do, whether it’s in defence, midfield or attack. »
Lucien Favre admits he is unsure whether Sancho will stay
United remain the favourites to land Sancho in the coming months but could find it difficult to meet the star’s asking price.
Dortmund have already made clear they will not accept lower than their valuation.
That could prove tricky for United who have already warned it won’t be « business as usual » this summer, and are still uncertain to qualify for the Champions League next season.
The Sun report Man City could muscle in on a deal and seal Sancho’s return to the club if United are not able to fund a transfer.
However former United defender Phil Neville feels there is little chance of such a high-profile transfer being completed in the next window, and has urged Sancho to remain patient and stay in Germany.
« I think with Sancho he’s actually playing for a great club and he’s playing most weeks, » Neville explained.
« He’s playing at the top, top level. If I was him I would be patient.
« I don’t think clubs can go out and pay £100m for a player like Sancho at this moment in time.
